Career & Memberships

Paul is a graduate of Cambridge University and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1981. He qualified as an English solicitor in 1988 and a Notary Public and as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey in 2001. He is a long-standing member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Ecclesiastical Law Society and is the Proctor Substitute of the Ecclesiastical Court of Jersey.

After almost 19 years with the law firm Carey Olsen where he was Head of the Trusts and the Private Wealth Practice Group of the Jersey office, followed by four years as a partner at multi-family office group Stonehage Fleming, Paul joined Seymour Law LLP in 2022.

He has been listed as a leading individual in his field by the Legal 500, Chambers & Partners and other legal directories for many years.
