We deal with contentious and non-contentious commercial, corporate and regulatory legal advice, including in relation to funds, banking, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions (M&A’s), business advice and agreements.

Our Regulatory offering includes advice on financial services regulation and competition law, and we regularly liaise with the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) and Jersey Competition Regulatory Authority (JCRA).

Regarding competition law, we have a great deal of experience dealing with investigations by JCRA and its forerunner, CICRA, as well as M&A applications. We have advised numerous companies on many markets, including in relation to fuel, retail, shipping, and food. We understand the crucial importance of the correct market definition in dealing with competition law issues, and think outside the box on identifying arguments to persuade the authorities, working with our trusted external experts where necessary.
